I would like to share a story about JB From Deby Goldfarb

I am so deeply saddened to hear about JB. He was a good man, a kind man. We would chat frequently when he drove past my condo in Boca Pointe, doing he excellent work of maintaining our property. Sometimes we would compare our injuries, both having knees that had been through surgeries. Sometimes it looked like he had pain when he would climb out of the golf cart but he never complained. On the contrary, he always smiled, made a positive quip about life and never let on that there was anything more serious going on with his health.
One day I mentioned that the latch on my outside storage unit was broken and rotted from weather. He gladly offered to fix it. I never brought it up again and then one day I came home and it was all repaired. When I saw him next I thanked him profusely and offered him money. He refused to take it. Then I offered him a bottle of fine wine as a gift. "No," he said, "I don't drink." Next I offered him a large box of Godiva chocolates. He politely refused and said that my happy 'thank you' was plenty for him.
What a fine man he was.
I send my deepest sympathy to the entire family. Knowing how enriched our lives were just to know him, I can't imagine the extent of the pain you all must feel at his loss.
     With heartfelt sympathy,
     Deby Goldfarb
