Grandpa, there are so many things to say. So many pictures I wish I would have taken, time I wish could have been longer. Yesterday was Fathers day and as I sat writing cards I came across the one I had for you. This is what it said, For a loving grandpa on Fathers day, Grandpa thanks for playing such an important role in my life. I'll always treasure every moment we have together. Those words couldn't be more true. Thank you for opening up your heart and sharing your life with us.  I will always treasure the time we did have, the phone calls to check in, the advice on life. " knowledge is power, learn everything you can". Thank you for always telling me how proud you were of me, that I could do anything I set my mind to, to never settle for less than what I deserve. For all the stories and jokes and all your trips to Colorado. All of your words have made a big impact on my life and are the reason I am the strong willed person I am today. One thing you always made clear, you were so grateful to have all of us in your life and loved everyone so much.
